From next Wednesday we will begin the run earlier, at 7:30. I want us to have time to stretch off properly. We have learned that we can use Stewarts Melville’s changing facilities beforehand and that they do have secure lockers. We should congregate indoors, at reception until we are ready to run and not stand shivering in the car park. We have a long winter ahead of us. As far possible the running over winter will be on lit surfaces. This means streets and cycle ways. In Spring the Water of Leith and Inverleith Park will become available to us but until then I will try to stick to places which are not so dark. 2009 Gents winner is Greg McDowell 2009 Ladies winner is Fiona Milligan Kyle Strachan and Karl Zeiner were 2nd & 3rd Gent Ali Rowatt was 2nd lady and there was a big tie for 3rd.
