2016 Race reports

Orienteering at Braidburn Park 8th Sept

"Thanks to those who came to the orienteering challenge last night and to the pub.
In the end it was a close battle! Team 2 (Jennie, Carrie and Nick) just snatched the victory in 31.20 with Team 1 (Anna and Juan) close behind in 31.32. Well done to all! Hopefully we can repeat the challenge next year with more competitors." (Keira M)

Thanks to Colleen for helping marshal at turn around points.

Kate Allan used to work with Ian and has provided a couple pics (on Facebook page) of the Rowan tree that was planted in the grounds of the residential home where he worked and is thriving and well tended" (Ian G)

"Thanks to you all who braved a MISERABLE morning to come and help me test out the new Portobello parkrun! The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive and I couldn't have done it without you.

I'm also delighted to tell you that the first three finishers were ET members.

Aquathlon

By entering any of these races as a member of "Edinburgh Triathletes" (not "ET" or Edinburgh Tri" etc)  and finishing the race, you are automatically entered into ET's internal club championship.

The points scheme is the same as 2014.

You get 100 points for finishing.

You get more points depending on your position in your age group. Points = (number of people in your age group that you beat) x 100 / (number of finishers in that age group).

Your best 4 performances count, so check out the Club Champs page.
